  Dr. Scherr at the Banfield Hospital in White Marsh, MD, on Pulaski Highway deserves great recognition as a veterinarian and as a compassionate, patient human. I have a dog with extreme fear issues, who she's been seeing for about a year and a half. Each time we visit, she plans to spend time with him, since she knows he needs it. She never gives up on him and looks out for what's best for him and me. She's encouraging, honest, patient, and caring, which is what has brought us back each time. I truly believe she cares for my dog, and each time we visit, she makes us feel like we're the only ones there. Since this is my first dog with fear issues, I've been learning a lot, especially throughout the first year, and have needed partners to help me through. Dr. Scherr has certainly been one of those. She's truly a gem.
